From the lace to the gorgeous blush color palette this afternoon spent in Kentwood, LA was an absolute dream. I want to share some of my favorite shots of The White Magnolia Styled Shoot I was fortunate enough to be apart of!
Cool springs house wedding day
At first the two weren’t sure if they would be able to get married in front of the old barn on the property due to rain, but we all kept our fingers crossed! As soon as the ceremony finished & Elizabeth & Jason were introduced as Mr. & Mrs. Cross, rain fell from the sky!

Celebrating each couple’s unique romance is what makes being a wedding photographer so fun for me! Each wedding day is special and unique, varying seasons, flowers, and colors, but my love for each of them is always the same. I hope you enjoy my recap of 2019 weddings!
July 6th was a very special wedding day to my heart as this was my first wedding where the bride was previously a bridesmaid at a different wedding that I photographed. Needless to say I was SO excited to hang out with TWO JA Brides (Julia – 2019 Bride & Taylor -2017 Bride) on the […]
The wedding march started to play. The crowd of family and friends began to rise from their seats. The doors of the historic First Presbyterian Church opened to Mary Kaylyn & her father ready to meet Kyle at the end of the aisle. This was no ordinary walk down the aisle for this bride. […]
April 27th, 2019 was the absolute perfect day for a Spring Wedding at Green Door Gourmet. This year’s springtime weather has been nothing short of glorious and this past Saturday was no exception. The blistering heat and intense humidity (y’all should try New Orleans humidity if you think Nashville is “muggy” by the way) […]
Who says rainy wedding days have to be a bad thing?! Elizabeth & Jason’s Cool Springs House Wedding Day may have had some rain, but it was still incredible, and in my opinion umbrella portraits are SO cute anyway! This wedding day was one of the classic stories where everything does work out after […]
If every single wedding this year tugs at my heart the way that Brooklyn & Trevor’s did, I may end up becoming dehydrated from all of the happy tears! This Black and White wedding might have a edgy Rock & Roll theme but don’t let that fool you, these two were not afraid at […]
Welcome to my Home Office Tour! This room inspires me daily, and I am so in love with it for so many reasons but especially because: My Nashville commute to work is about 15 steps from my bed. VERY different from the rest of the city’s commute! It’s so bright, airy, and joyful. Just like […]
If you’re a southern bride like me, you’ve likely wrestled with this question while you’re on your wedding planning journey. There are SO many opinions out there, that’s it’s hard to gauge what you really want when it comes to whether or not to do a first look. Making this choice is an extremely personal […]
There is something incredibly romantic about being in a city setting. There are seas of people heading off to work, enjoying a cup of coffee, and everyone is going someplace different. Yet somehow out of all of those people, it’s possible for two people to find one another and fall deeply in love. That’s the […]
So you’ve gotten past the initial shock of the fact that “YOU’RE GETTING MARRIED! So now what? Now, you’re in the real thick of planning your dream day. After you’ve secured the majority of your vendors (you can read some more helpful information on that here.) , the intense part of planning begins. From color […]
When we first moved to Tennessee, one of the reasons I was SO excited was that I knew I would live in a place that felt like the mountains for the first time. Growing up in South Louisiana you’re actually below sea level in most places, and while Starkville had a few hills […]
