2019 will go down in my memory was one of the toughest years of my entire life. From the excitement and challenges that come with buying a home, continuing to navigate the grief of losing a best friend, traveling to new and beautiful places, and conquering some past demons through EMDR therapy, even the things that were worthwhile were still very difficult to go through. The one thing that held everything together for me last year was continuing to be able to pursue my dream career as a wedding photographer. 

 This year I was fortunate enough to shoot some amazing wedding days at some new venues in Tennessee like the picturesque Ramble Creek Vineyard, historic Cool Springs House, and the beautiful Green Door Gourmet. I even had the pleasure of photographing a wedding in the same venue that my sister got married in New Orleans, Rosy’s Jazz Hall!

Another incredible highlight of this years was photographing a surprise proposal of one of my very best friends in Charleston, SC! Taking photos of Peyton & Alex in that incredibly beautiful and historic city will always be a cherished memory for me! I will never forget how excited and overcome with joy those two were in the hours after they realized their love was going to last forever.

When I reflect back on all the weddings that I was blessed to be part of last year, I can’t help but feel overwhelmed with gratitude that I am able to pursue this amazing dream of mine. There is truly nothing better to me than being trusted by each and every bride and groom to photograph the beginning of their marriage. Celebrating each couple’s unique romance is what makes being a wedding photographer so fun for me! Each wedding day is special and unique, varying seasons, flowers, and colors, but my love for each of them is always the same. I hope you enjoy my recap of 2019 weddings!
