Cool springs house wedding day
At first the two weren’t sure if they would be able to get married in front of the old barn on the property due to rain, but we all kept our fingers crossed! As soon as the ceremony finished & Elizabeth & Jason were introduced as Mr. & Mrs. Cross, rain fell from the sky!

Cool Springs House Wedding Day
Who says rainy wedding days have to be a bad thing?! Elizabeth & Jason’s Cool Springs House Wedding Day may have had some rain, but it was still incredible, and in my opinion umbrella portraits are SO cute anyway! This wedding day was one of the classic stories where everything does work out after all.
At first the two weren’t sure if they would be able to get married in front of the old barn on the property due to rain, but we all kept our fingers crossed! As the ceremony time drew closer, we knew the rain was coming so we actually started the ceremony a few minutes early, hoping we could hold the rain off just long enough for them to say “I Do.” Well guess what?! As soon as the ceremony finished & Elizabeth & Jason were introduced as Mr. & Mrs. Cross, rain fell from the sky! It was heavenly!
I’ve gotten to know Elizabeth & Jason pretty well throughout since they first contacted me looking for a wedding photographer. In the time I’ve known them, they have not only been exceedingly kind but also adventurous! We had SO much fun hiking to incredible locations for their Harpeth River State Park Engagement Session. Funny enough, it rained on that day too but still everything still came out beautiful & we had so much fun! Just like on their wedding day!
Elizabeth & Jason, thank you so much for trusting me to take photos on rainy days not once, but TWICE! You two know how to roll with the punches with kindness, grace, and definitely love for one another. Your marriage is going to be so very strong. I love you both!
