It’s no secret that this is a crazy season in everyone’s lives. Despite the havoc that COVID-19 has wreaked on the plans of so many people, Erin and Devon rose above discouragement that the virus brought, and chose to celebrate their marriage on the front steps of their home! Their intimate Nashville wedding day will always be one of the sweetest ceremonies I have ever witnessed.

I am so proud of the two of them for putting their love first and foremost and still choosing to celebrate in the sweetest way possible, with their closest family and friends by their side (and some in their street for a driveway celebration too!). Their handwritten vows to one another were a testament to the truth that their marriage will survive through adversity and thrive in times of happiness. Their love for each other will only continue to grow as their journey continues, I have no doubt of that.

I was lucky enough to help out with the celebration by making Erin a bouquet complete with lilies (her favorite flowers) & a blue ribbon that would serve as her “new” and “blue” items. Then, I also had her wear my grandmother’s pearl bracelet so she would have something “old” and “borrowed” as well! It was fun to think of creative ways to still make sure that Erin felt like a bride as much as everyone else deserves to feel on their wedding day!

Erin and Devon, thank you so much for everything that you have done for me. You both have treated me as WAY more than a wedding photographer, you’ve treated me with an incredible and genuine friendship. You’re quite honestly one of the biggest reasons that I will continue to fight for my business during this season of uncertainty. If I can continue to serve people as amazing as you two, the fight will be worth it. I am so grateful for you and I love you both! Congratulations!
