What a fun afternoon this was! I had the best time celebrating Elizabeth & Daniel’s Anniversary Session with them in Tennessee! Not only was I fortunate enough to take their engagement and wedding photos, but now I got to see them all this time later in their new home of Nashville! These two are crazy about one another, I’m so happy they got married almost a year ago now! I think it’s definitely safe to say that the Lord knew what he was doing when he paired them together.

 

If you read Elizabeth & Daniel’s wedding post here, you know that Elizabeth and I have been friends our whole lives! My mom even said recently that she remembers going to Mrs. Gina’s baby shower for Elizabeth! Nothing is cooler than having lifelong friends and watching each other grow up and succeed. Especially since we’re both MSU grads now, how crazy is that?!

 

Sunny afternoons in Tennessee like this make it hard for me to even see this portrait session as “work”. Especially after the cold winter we had, seeing all the green and sunshine mix together made for some swoon worthy portraits of these two! Marcella Vivrette Smith Park is a place I had been anxiously awaiting to photograph ever since we moved to the Brentwood area. I think it’s easy to see why!

 

Also, I’d like to take a moment to say thank goodness that midi dresses are back in style! I’m so happy that Elizabeth chose this gorgeous dress from * for her anniversary session. Isn’t it so precious?! I swear if I could only pick one thing to wear my entire life, a perfect floral midi dress would be it. Just ask my closet or Hunter Levi!
