Aren’t we all a sucker for a good love story? If you answered “Of course!” , you’re in the right place! One of my favorite parts of being a wedding photographer is watching couples light up with glee and excitement from the newness from finding the person they will spend the rest of their lives with! It’s an emotion like no other! How they met. How he proposed. I love all of it! I’ll never forget that time in my life while I was dating the guy that I knew I would marry. My couples always end up asking me “What about you & Hunter?” So I decided to share with you the story of us!
Here’s our story of how we went from a church camp fling to wedding rings!
PART 1: HOW WE MET
PART 2: BEST FRIENDS THAT HELD HANDS
PART 3: FRIDAY NIGHT VICTORY
PART 4: DANCIN’ THE NIGHT AWAY
PART 5: CLASS OF 2014
PART 6: I SAID YES
PART 7: 5,000 MILES APART
PART 8: MAY 15, 2016

All the bright Friday night-lights glistened over the damp field, all our uniforms where cleaned sleek white ready for not just any game ,but possibly the last home game of the season. This was it, this is what we had trained and worked so hard for, a chance to clinch a home field advantage in the state playoffs. It was now or never.
There was so much passing through my mind as I took my spot on the field, right wing mid fielder. As always, I’d scan through the crowd of spectators and screaming moms. Then I saw her.
Just like every other game, so steady and beautiful, sat my biggest fan of all. No matter the sporting event, I could always count on at least one corny sign holder, birthday cupcake baker or cheerleader dressed girlfriend to cheer me on! These are the things I remember most about our high school love story. Not only because my friends and teammates hassled me about it (jealous much!), but because I got to see firsthand what kind of wonderfully hopeless love I had gotten myself into.
Looking back on it, that soccer game was not nearly as exciting as my most important victory, winning the girl of my dreams.
