Today, we’re trying something new on the blog! Instead of me giving my insight on sweet Kyndall and Ty as a couple, I figured I would let the bride do the talking! Take it away future Mrs.Cochran!
How we met:
My sophomore year of high school I noticed a really cute boy. In October I was celebrating my 16th birthday with a huge sweet 16 party. It was an invite only party. I started the day off having a paint party and hors d’oeuvres then all of my other friends and guy friends were invited to my moms office courtyard for my party. All of my friends had arrived and we were having a good time. My friend Brittany Mizell told me to go move the cones that were blocking the party lot so our friend Brandon Patrick could pull in to park. As soon as I walked out to move the cone and Brandon pulled in. I saw that really cute boy who I had a crush on In the passenger seat. I blushed and ran back to the courtyard and told my friends Ty was with Brandon and he wasn’t invited!! Ha. I’m so glad he tried to crash my sweet 16. We took our very first picture together at my sweet 16 party when he tried to photobomb me and Brittany’s picture. I give Brittany and Brandon all the credit for “hooking us up”.
Our Favorite Memory: one of my favorite and funniest memories with ty is… on our very first official date (Valentines Day) he took me to Wasabi to try sushi for the very first time. On our way home HE RAN OUT OF GAS in the police station parking lot in Gautier. He embarrassingly had to call one of his friends to come pick us up. His friend decided to come pick us up in his moms two door mustang in which Ty made me sit in the back. Ha. I have never let him live that down.
How did he propose: Every Wednesday I would go to Ty’s house to see my niece Harper before she went to church with her mom and dad. This particular Wednesday May 6, 2015 I pulled up to Ty’s house and his mom, Kaley, and Harper were sitting on the porch. So I get out of the car and hang out with them for awhile. When I went to get up to go inside to see Ty his mom, Pam, jumped up ran inside and handed me an envelope. Confused, I opened it and read a letter Ty had written me. Mrs. Pam told me Ty wanted to send me on a scavenger hunt. I had to clue why and I was so mad because when I left his house and tried to call him he would not answer. So, at each place he sent me He wrote me a note and had the hint for the next place I would have to drive to. I went to Roy’s fishing camp, a place where we went mud riding in his old blue truck, Walmart where our first kiss was, the gazebo in downtown Ocean Springs where we took our very first couples christmas pictures, and the last hint was to the place where we first met. So, as I was driving to my moms office’s courtyard I called Brittany freaking out telling her “idk what’s going on but something is up!!” As I walked up to the courtyard I saw all of my family and his family gathered around the fountain. Ty walks out and gives me the last “hint” and before I finish reading it he gets down on one knee and asks me to be his forever. It was literally the happiest moment and it meant so much to me that he took the time to plan everything!!
What are you most excited about on wedding day:
Im excited to see how handsome Ty is in his Tux and spend the day with the people we love the most. I can’t wait to finally marry the man that makes me whole. Oh, and of course wearing my dress all day!!
Kyndall and Ty, it’s hard to believe but the big day is TOMORROW! Can you believe it?! I am so looking forward to watching you both soak up every ounce of joy that the day will bring, and I can’t wait to celebrate you two!
