From the lace to the gorgeous blush color palette this afternoon spent in Kentwood, LA was an absolute dream. I want to share some of my favorite shots of The White Magnolia Styled Shoot I was fortunate enough to be apart of!
At first the two weren’t sure if they would be able to get married in front of the old barn on the property due to rain, but we all kept our fingers crossed! As soon as the ceremony finished & Elizabeth & Jason were introduced as Mr. & Mrs. Cross, rain fell from the sky!
Celebrating each couple’s unique romance is what makes being a wedding photographer so fun for me! Each wedding day is special and unique, varying seasons, flowers, and colors, but my love for each of them is always the same. I hope you enjoy my recap of 2019 weddings!
Welcome to my new favorite room in our home, Emie’s Boho Inspired Feminine Nursery! I’ve been dreaming of this space for quite some time now and it has been the best feeling to see every tiny detail come together. I wanted a space that felt sweet, natural, feminine, and of course I wanted it to have lots of plants! I absolutely can’t wait to hold my baby girl in this room in just a few days from now!
My biggest trick for making this nursery the dream I envisioned while still sticking to a budget is Facebook Marketplace. I was able to find most of the original links for these items below but I want to give full transparency that the crib, nursery rocker, & dresser were ALL from Facebook marketplace. The second biggest part of designing a space for me is to create a board on Pinterest. That way I am visually able to see my vision and it helps to review the photos to help make decisions on which pieces and decorations to buy.
As far as DIY projects, I found a natural wood dresser and Hunter painted the drawers and put new knobs on for me. The dresser that inspired this one was listed online for $1400 and after buying it on marketplace, painting it, and getting new knobs I only spent $120! Sweet Hunter also built these custom corner shelves for the room which made for the perfect place for Emie’s baby monitor and sound machine. He even ran the wiring discreetly so you hardly notice it, and hooked everything up! I’m not surprised in the slightest but he is already the best dad to our baby girl.
Enjoy the photos of our little corner of heaven, I know we will have the sweetest and happiest memories in this Boho Inspired Feminine Nursery with Emily Elizabeth!
