My 2018 wedding season has officially come to an end, and I couldn’t have imagined a better way to finish the year than with Katie & Daniel’s winter wedding in Tullahoma, Tennessee. These two were such a dream to “work” with. By “work” I mean there was no place in the world I would have wanted to be than with these two sweethearts! Let me try to do my very best to explain how much I love this JA Couple. First, the way Daniel looks at Katie makes my heart melt. He LOVES her so much which wasn’t just adorable, it made my job of photographing their love for one another extremely easy and enjoyable! Secondly, Katie is honestly one of the kindest and most genuine people I know. Her love for her friends, family, and especially Daniel lights up an entire room. So many incredible people showed up for them both, and that didn’t surprise me at all. I can only imagine how many hearts they will bless in their future marriage just by being themselves – delightful, joyful, & downright genuine.
Celebrating Katie & Daniel’s wedding day in the church that she grew up in was such a testament to the things she truly values – her faith, her family, and her future marriage. One of the most special details of the day was the fact that Katie’s mom MADE her veil. The entire thing, she hand made herself! Y’all exquisite is the only word that can adequately describe just how amazing and intricate it was. The veil blended with Katie’s dress perfectly, it was like the two were meant to be. As if one incredible mother wasn’t enough, Daniel’s mother actually made their wedding cake and when you scroll below you will see what I mean when I saw WOW! How blessed are Katie & Daniel to have two mothers that love them so well and are also extremely talented?!
Sometimes people will ask me,”Ugh, I bet you have to deal with so many bridezillas?!”. I reply ,”Absolutely not. My brides and grooms are the sweetest!” When I say that I have couples like Katie & Daniel in mind. They are the reason that I wake up and find joy in the mornings. Serving them throughout this season of their lives is something I will always cherish!
Katie & Daniel, thank you so much for having me along your journey. I love you guys and I will be praying for many blessings for you two! I hope you have the best honeymoon up in Washington! Congratulations!
