Where do I even begin? The only way I know how to accurately describe Staci & Luke’s Oxford, Mississippi wedding day is heavenly. I’ve met a lot of couples and photographed so many God-centered ceremonies. This one was different. In every single aspect of this wedding day, I felt the Lord’s presence alive and well.
Throughout the entire day I heard so many different people say, “It’s funny how things work out.”. I don’t actually think it was funny as much as a truly beautiful picture of how deeply rooted God was in Staci & Luke’s relationship. Every facet of their wedding day was exactly what they want, a worship service for the God they love and who loves them so much more.
While the two exchanged gifts from one another, I was sitting on the front row seat to see just how in love these soul mates were. Let’s start by the fact they both gave one another passport wallets! Out of ALL the things they could have given to each other under the sun, they both gave each other the same present! How sweet is that?!
As precious as that was, what I thought was even sweeter was the fact that Staci gave Luke a special journal. This notebook titled “To my Future Husband” was full of scripture and precious thoughts that Staci had been keeping long before she even knew Luke much less the fact that he would be her husband one day. At the end of the journal, she left a note for Luke expressing how excited she was that she had finally found the one whom she was about to spend her life with. It was by far the most genuine act to start a God-filled marriage that I had ever seen.
The rest of their day was filled with sweet family that loved them dearly, some insanely beautiful florals, a bubble exit, and the prettiest portrait session in the same place that Luke proposed – the Square in Oxford, MS. Their white and gold color palette was so classic and timeless; it was the perfect compliment to their already perfect love story. Between her birth stones on her wedding band and her family heirloom on her bouquet, there were so many intricate details that made the day so special and so unique to them.
Staci & Luke, thank you so much for trusting me so fully to capture the day that the Lord planned for you two to (FINALLY) become husband and wife. I have no doubt you will have a long and beautiful future glorify Him in every single thing that you do. I am so thankful for you and so happy for you both! Congratulations!

Jannah, your sweet comments brought tears to my eyes. It was definitely one of the most spiritual wedding ceremonies I’ve experienced. You were such a blessing to us too. Every photo is amazing!
So thankful it was a pretty day so they could let you experience the beautiful Oxford Square with them.
Mrs. Mary,
