Brooke & William are one of my very special couples that I came to know through living my double life as a veterinary technology major. Brooke is one of my classmates and now a close friend! Being together for months on end while struggling to get through anesthesia class will do that to you. Anyway, when the time came for her to start wedding planning, I was honored for her to choose me as her photographer! I was equally as excited for her engagement session! Brooke shared all her ideas of a long flowy dress in a cotton field with me and I knew we would do whatever it took to make this dream of hers happen, and I am so glad we did! I can only imagine how much fun we’re going to have next November at their Florida wedding!

 

 

 

How did you meet?

We meet when I was 8 years old. I was in 4-H and needed a lamb for my very first market lamb show. Williams family raised and sold lambs to 4-H competitors like me, so we got in contact with the Hastings family and that is how I meet William.

 

What has been your favorite memory together thus far?

 

How did he propose?

 

It was spring break of my junior year and my mom, William and I decided to spend the week in Nashville, TN. We went on the famous pedestrian bridge in Nashville to take pictures of the beautiful city. After taking a couple of pictures, I turned to William and he was down on one knee. He then asked that life changing question “will you marry me?” Of course I answered him with a YES!
